Terms and conditions
1. Scope
These terms govern the use of Swiss Daycare Directory by visitors and by providers who maintain a listing. By using the service you accept them.
2. What we offer
We operate a directory and present information about businesses in a structured way. We are neither a party to nor a broker of any contract concluded between you and a provider, and we owe no performance arising from such a contract.
3. Listings and their accuracy
Listings come from publicly accessible sources or from the providers themselves. Whoever has claimed a listing is responsible for its accuracy. We check with due care but give no guarantee of accuracy, completeness or currency.
A listing is neither a recommendation nor a statement about professional qualification. When in doubt, verify licences and qualifications with the competent authority.
4. Account
A saved list, reviews and maintaining a listing require an account. Keep your credentials confidential and tell us if you suspect misuse. You can delete your account at any time.
5. Reviews
Reviews should rest on your own experience. The following are not permitted:
- invented experiences or reviews written on behalf of third parties
- insults, discriminatory statements and unlawful content
- statements about health, private life or other sensitive circumstances of third parties
- advertising and content unrelated to the business being reviewed
We check reviews before publication and may reject them or remove them later if they breach these rules. There is no entitlement to publication.
6. Claiming a listing
Whoever takes over a listing confirms that they are authorised to represent the business. To verify this we send a code to the business address held in the listing. Where there is well-founded doubt, we may reverse a claim.
7. Paid services
The basic listing is free. Premium is subject to a charge; price and term are stated on the pricing page. Billing runs through our payment service provider. A subscription can be cancelled with effect from the end of the current period; amounts already paid are not refunded pro rata.
Premium improves visibility within the directory. It affects neither reviews nor how they are displayed, and we promise no particular number of enquiries.
8. Provider content
Providers remain responsible for the texts and images they publish. They warrant that they hold the necessary rights and grant us the right to publish the content within the directory. We remove unlawful content.
9. Impermissible use
Systematic extraction of listings, measures that impair operation, and attempts to circumvent access restrictions are not permitted.
10. Availability
We strive for continuous operation but owe no particular availability. Maintenance and faults may cause interruptions.
11. Liability
We are liable for intent and gross negligence. Otherwise liability is excluded as far as the law permits — in particular for damage arising from the use of listings or from contracts with providers.
12. Changes
We may adapt these terms. We announce material changes to registered users in advance. Whoever continues to use the service thereafter accepts the new version.
13. Language versions
These terms exist in several languages. Where the versions differ, the German one governs.
14. Governing law and place of jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Villmergen, unless mandatory provisions specify another forum.
